Kronkui bestowed Mar new powers, allowing him to become a chef, and Mar began to undo the work the New Dark Lord Screamith inflicted on Miitopia. When he was attacked for a second time, the antique charm given to Mar by Blobfish activated and Mar was able to hear Kronkui. Upon Blobfish's request, Mar went to find the stolen face of her son, He-man. Three years after the original series, Mar was travelling in the Easin Hills, much like his predecessor, Failboat, until monsters started to appear and the faces from the citizens of Greenhorne were stolen. Rather, he was a stand-in and a humble adventurer. Mar was not originally supposed to be the protagonist of the New Miitopia.

Some undisclosed time later, Mar participated in the Super Smash Bros series as a Mii Brawler and known for his cheesy finishing moves. Mar in Cooking up Miis, doing his famous cheesy finisher Kazoo man took Mar and the two set off travelling so Mar could repay the world for his various crimes. Failboat chose to save him and gave the Dark Curse a new face, bringing Mar into the Miitopia universe. Mar and Kazoo Man at the end of Miitopia Season 1Īfter the Dark Curse was cast out of the Darkest Lord, the Great Sage Kazoo Man asked Failboat if he should break the curse or save him. This shadow of a soul eventually turned into the Dark Curse, who eventually possessed Hank to become the Dark Lord and set off the events of Failboat's first adventure. As a result, he cast his face away, leaving behind a soul filled with hate, malice and envy. Mar was once a regular man but he was ignored for his boring face (though he really liked his right eye).
